I’ve suffered depression bouts on and off for the last 10 years lots of the time I cant bring myself to answer the Phone. I ve been a financial member of the ETU for the last 20 years while I was working I paid dues plus dues for times I didn’t work. I haven’t worked or made any money for over a year. I was feeling quiet happy for the last few weeks, today some debt collector rings up Harassing me for unpaid dues of behalf of the ETU. I’m now as depressed as I ever was. Is the ETU doing that hard for money the feel the need to send debt collectors after members that are on the bones of their arse?
I used to be a proud ETU member once upon a time ago even had fist fights with one of my only personal friends over unions, I couldnt count the number of donations that unions on site have made me pay to other members.
Every time I’ve ever needed any help my union has never been there for me.

ILL add to this most of the 10 minute phone conversation with the said detective (7of10 minutes) was about the previous encounter I’d had with 1 of his colleagues where I was charged and found not guilty of affray an event which my best friend died .
